Zerapod-50 Dry Syrup 30 ml belongs to the group of cephalosporin antibiotics indicated in the treatment of bacterial infections such as respiratory tract infections, including infections of the lungs, throat, tonsils, and sinus cavities. Zerapod-50 Dry Syrup 30 ml contains ‘Cefpodoxime’, which is a broad-spectrum antibiotic effective against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. Zerapod-50 Dry Syrup 30 ml works by preventing the formation of bacterial cell covering (cell wall), which is necessary for their survival. Thereby, Zerapod-50 Dry Syrup 30 ml kills the bacteria and helps in treating bacterial infections.
