Oplatin 100Mg/50Ml Inj contains Oxaliplatin, which belongs to the group of medicines called platinum-containing antineoplastic agents used to treat stage III colon cancer after complete removal of the primary tumour and metastatic cancer of the colon and rectum. It is used in combination with other anti-cancer medicines, such as 5-fluorouracil and folinic acid. Oplatin 100Mg/50Ml Inj works by killing the cancer cells. Thereby, it helps treat cancer. Oplatin 100Mg/50Ml Inj may also be used with other medicines to prevent colon cancer from spreading in patients who have had surgery to remove the tumour.
