Oflomac Suspension contains Ofloxacin. It is a broad-spectrum antibiotic that acts against both aerobic (grow in the presence of oxygen) and anaerobic (grow in the absence of oxygen) bacteria. Oflomac Suspension is used in the treatment of several bacterial infections in children. Oflomac Suspension works by inhibiting the repair of the bacterial cell wall (a protective covering) and causing damage to the bacterial cell wall. This eventually leads to the death of the bacterial cell and thus prevents the growth of bacterial infections.
Directions for Use
Shake the container well before each use. Measure the required amount of this medicine into the measuring cup and administer it to your child. It is advised to measure the quantity accurately with the help of a syringe or measuring spoon containing markings.
