Myfos Sachet 8 gm includes Fosfomycin, a broad-spectrum antibiotic that kills gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria that grow aerobically (in the presence of oxygen) and anaerobically (in the absence of oxygen). Myfos Sachet 8 gm prevents the formation of the necessary bacterial cell wall (a protective covering) for survival. As a result, it kills bacteria. Additionally, Myfos Sachet 8 gm inhibits bacterial attachment to cells lining the urinary bladder, preventing bladder infection caused by E.coli bacteria.

Myfos Sachet 8 gm should be taken on an empty stomach, preferably before bedtime after emptying the bladder or take it as advised by the doctor. Dissolve the contents of the sachet in a glass of water, stir to dissolve and drink immediately. Do not use hot water.
