Mucoris-P 0.05% Nasal Drops 10 ml treats nasal congestion or blocked nose in common cold, sinusitis, hay fever, perennial and allergic rhinitis. It consists of Xylometazoline. Xylometazoline is a decongestant and an antihistamine drug. It works by easing the inflammation and blocking of nasal passages by narrowing the blood vessels (vasoconstriction) and reduces the swelling. This process provides temporary relief from nasal congestion and blockage. As an antihistamine drug, Xylometazoline provides relief from runny nose and sneezing by blocking the action of allergy-causing histamines.

Nasal drops/spray: Check the label for directions before using this medicine. Insert the tip of the bottle into a nostril while closing the other nostril and instil the drops towards the sides of the nostril. Keep your head straight and breathe gently. Repeat the same process for the other nostril. If you have inserted the tip of the bottle inside your nose, then rinse the tip with warm water and dry with a tissue. Avoid getting this medicine into your eyes.
