Incef CV Syrup 30 ml belongs to the group of medicines called antibiotics used to treat various bacterial infections of the urinary tract, ear, throat, lungs, and uncomplicated gonorrhoea. Incef CV Syrup 30 ml is a combination of two antibiotics, namely: Cefixime (cephalosporin antibiotic) and Clavulanic acid (beta-lactamase inhibitor). Cefixime works by preventing the formation of bacterial cell covering, which is necessary for their survival. Thereby, kills the bacteria and helps in treating and preventing the spread of infections. Clavulanic acid works by enhancing the activity of cefixime against bacteria and decreases bacterial resistance. Together, Incef CV Syrup 30 ml helps to treat bacterial infections. Incef CV Syrup 30 ml does not work against infections caused by the virus, including cold and flu.

Tablet/Capsule: Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water; do not chew, or crush the tablet/capsule.Syrup/Suspension/Drops: Take the prescribed dose by mouth using the measuring cup/dosing syringe/dropper provided by the pack; shake the pack well before each use.Dry syrup: Check the label for directions before use. Shake the bottle well to loosen the powder and add water up to the mark on the bottle and shake well. Take the prescribed dose by mouth using the measuring cup/dosing syringe/dropper.
