DV 60K Syrup 5 ml contains Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol). It is a steroid hormone produced in the skin when exposed to ultraviolet light or obtained from food sources. It is a provitamin that is converted into a vitamin after intake. It helps maintain blood calcium and phosphorus levels and the mineralization of bone. DV 60K Syrup 5 ml is also used in the treatment of familial hypophosphatemia (a group of rare inherited disorders characterized by impaired kidney conservation of phosphate and in some cases, altered vitamin D metabolism).
Directions for Use
Tablet/Capsule: Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water. Do not crush, chew or break it.Chewable tablet: Take the chewable tablet by mouth. Chew it completely before swallowing.Oral Solution/Drops: Shake the bottle well before use. Take the recommended dose by mouth using the measuring cup/dosing syringe/dropper provided by the pack.Sachet/Powder: Check the label for directions before use. Mix the recommended amount in water, stir well and drink immediately.
