Combitide 250 Octacap 30’s improves pulmonary function and effectively treats and prevents the worsening of emphysema (shortness of breath) and chronic bronchitis (inflammation of the lining of your bronchial tubes). Combitide 250 Octacap 30’s is a combination of two drugs: Salmeterol and Fluticasone propionate, which is used to treat asthma symptoms and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Salmeterol belongs to the class of bronchodilators that relax muscles and widen the lungs’ airways. Thus, it makes breathing easier. Fluticasone propionate belongs to the class of corticosteroids that works by acting on the nasal lining’s inner cells and stopping the release of certain chemicals in the body that cause inflammatory reactions. Thereby providing relief from sneezing, runny or blocked nose and sinus discomfort.

Combitide 250 Octacap 30’s should be used via inhalation with an inhaler. Your doctor or nurse will show you how to use the inhaler properly. Place the inhaler upright in your mouth and insert the mouthpiece between your teeth. Please do not bite it. When you begin to breathe in through your mouth, press the top of the inhaler to release a puff of air while continuing to inhale. After that, hold your breath. Remove the inhaler gently and hold your breath for as long as it feels comfortable. Breathe slowly out. If you require another puff, wait a minute before repeating the steps above. To avoid dust or fluff, close the mouthpiece with the cover after use.
