Alphagan Z Opthalmic Solution 5 ml contains Brimonidine tartrate and Stabilized oxychloro complex. Alphagan Z Opthalmic Solution 5 ml is indicated for lowering intraocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. Brimonidine tartrate belongs to a group of medicines called alpha-2 adrenergic receptor agonists. It helps decrease the production of aqueous humour, thereby helps lower the increased pressure in the eye. Stabilized oxychloro complex acts as a preservative.
Directions for Use
Lie down and tilt your head backwards. Pull your lower eyelid gently with your index finger to form a pocket. Instil the number of drops advised by the doctor into the pocket of the lower eyelid. Close your eyes for 1-2 minutes.
